The legendary cigar-maker Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia blended My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Anos Corona Especial Limited Edition to celebrate the centenary birthday of his father Jose Garcia Alayon, born in 1922. The cigar is full-bodied in strength and features an incredibly dark Ecuador Habano double Oscuro wrapper - a dark Colorado Maduro- and spicy Nicaragua long fillers and binders. All the tobacco leaves used in making My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 Anos were specially cultivated on the Garcia family's private farms in San Jose, San Rafael, and Las Quebradas. The cigar has a pigtail cap - another difference from the original Le Bijou line. In fact, this blend is an extension and modified version of the award-winning cigar My Father Le Bijou series. Le Bijou is a French word for “my jewel”, while 1922 depicts the year of birth of his father.

The Garcia family knew they had to celebrate this significant occasion with all their might. The result was a huge success. Two limited edition sizes are available - Limited Edition 2022 Corona Extra ( 5 ½" x 48), a Robusto, and Corona Especial ( 6 ½" x 44), a Lonsdale.
