Like the 2023 version, the Crowned Heads Four Kicks Mule Kick LE 2025 isn’t a Four Kicks blend. The wrapper is Connecticut broadleaf, the binder is from Mexico’s San Andrés valley and the fillers are from Nicaragua’s Estelí and Jalapa regions. For context, the regular Mule Kick blend calls for an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. That said, there are two constants; one, it remains a 5 7/8 x 52 robusto extra vitola. Second, it’s still made in the same building, even if this is the first Mule Kick to come from the factory with its Casa Carrillo name.
